With over 20 years of investment and consulting experience, Amish Purohit founded Alpha Development in 2015 with the goal of developing and investing in companies that bring value to communities and cities across the country.

He began in the hospitality industry in 1999 and since that time has expanded a hotel portfolio to include brands from Hilton, Marriott, IHG as well as large scale boutiques. His experience includes real estate acquisition and development, hotel investment and brand development as well as leadership in company growth.

In addition to hospitality, he has been heavily involved in the medical field serving as a special advisor to the FDA and consultant to several Fortune 500 private sector healthcare companies as well as providing investment and expertise within the healthcare venture capital community.

He continues to expand his interests and expertise and has invested in and helped promote a variety of industries concentrating on the growth of his home city in Nashville, Tn.
